Education is not the same today. Schools have to constantly keep updating the teaching pedagogy to keep pace with the ever-changing global trends. The teacher-taught equation is not the same today. It is not only about imparting or gaining knowledge. What matters today is the application of knowledge and its productiveness in leading a successful life.
More than the information provider, a teacher needs to be a counselor, a friend, a motivator and above all a role model. The teachers undergo regular appraisals and are sensitized toward the onerous responsibility of educating these children who can be more correctly called netizens.
Therefore, we, at St. Paul’s consistently endeavor to make our students worldly-wise and adaptable. Along with mental robustness, it is important for a student to be emotionally strong. Today’s dynamic lifestyle with too much dependence on technology has impacted students negatively. Lack of parental supervision and exposure to violence and other vices of society has made our students emotionally unstable. Thus it is imperative for us to nurture the IQ as well as the EQ by providing a caring and stimulating learning environment.
We give equal and ample opportunities to our students to grow as unique individuals. The opportunities span literary activities, sports, and cultural events as well as inter-school competitions. We look forward to growing alongside our community and making St. Paul’s Academy the best that it can be.
I would like to congratulate all members of the Academic team for their dedicated efforts to collate all scholastic and co-scholastic activities to provide the much-needed multifaceted development. Looking forward to achieving new milestones.
