Message from the DIRECTOR

In a span of 45 years, St. Paul’s Academy has earned a distinctive identity and I feel humbled by the recognition that has been bestowed upon this institution. I thank all patrons and well-wishers for their best wishes and overwhelming support. In this school, education is imparted in totality. It is not just training of the faculties of mind but the transformation of a child’s personality into a keen scholar with a human touch. The Academic and Administrative staff at the school strive to provide a very positive, vibrant, and safe environment to the students. The safety and happiness of all students have been, and shall always be, of utmost importance to us.

CURRICULUM

The course of studies comprises of Pre-primary Section (Nursery to UKG), Primary Section (Std to V), Middle School (VI to VIII), and the High School Section (IX and X) The school is affiliated for XI and XII as well. Computer education and Computer-aided teaching are introduced from Std. I and it is compulsory. Students are offered Computer Application as a group III subject at the ICSE level of the Board Examination.

 

  • Co-curricular Subjects where the emphasis is laid on Drawing, painting, and Crafts along with Music. Moral education and General Knowledge are in the school routine and examined like all Academic Subjects. Sports and Games are an integral part of co-curricular activities.
  • Extra Curricular Activities
    The students are grouped into four houses. Tagore House, Subash House,
    Vivekananda House and Bhagat Singh House. Inter House competitions in Quiz, Elocution, Debate, Solo and Folk Singing and Dances, Sports, and Games are held annually. The school takes part in Inter-School Competitions and also organizes InterSchool competitions on campus to motivate students. National Days, Teacher’s Day, Children’s Day, etc are celebrated with full enthusiasm.
  • School has Eco-club, and Disaster Management Committee and takes an active part in public awareness programs.
  • The school lays emphasis on textbooks recommended by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi.
SCHOOL TERM

The Academic session is from April to March. The session is divided into two terms.
First Term and Second Term. The First Assessment Test and Half-Yearly
Examinations are conducted in the First Term and Second Assessment test and
nd Final Examination are conducted in the 2 term. The syllabus is divided accordingly.
Pupils’ cumulative performance is taken into consideration for the promotion to the
next higher classes.

PARENT TEACHER MEETING
The meeting are organized regularly. Parent should attend these meetings to discuss progress and performance of the child/ward with teachers
